Indulging

We were all up relatively early, so I decided to go for a walk – I even ran part of the way.  The first time I have attempted to run in about nine months.  The wind had dropped significantly and  I saw the sun rise over the Lammermuirs.  Later on, as it was such a lovely morning, we all walked into town for to get a couple of things.  BB wasn’t too happy about being dragged out, but Pokeman kept him occupied.

After a hurried lunch, we caught the bus into Edinburgh to visit friends, and spent the rest of the day and evening mostly drinking, eating and chatting.  After we had eaten, BB entertained us with his Christmas cracker jokes and then TT entertained us with his charades.  All too soon we were rushing to get our bus home.

We snacked on these classy crisps with our gin and tonics.
