Episode one: Lost

He’s no leader
(neither is he easily led)
so whenever a line is formed
he is never at its head.

However, on this occasion,
being one of just three
and having considered the other two,
he decides ‘It had better be me.’

‘And, for once,’ he thinks,
‘won’t it be great to feel the glow
of praise being heaped upon me
and to be hailed as a hero.’

‘It’s ok boys,’ he barks, ‘I’ll take charge.
And don’t worry. I’m ready for action.’
So he sets off, with the two in tow,
heading confidently in the wrong direction…
