Feeding time at the canal for feathered friends.

I went out wrapped up well as we have sunshine and frost here today.
It is lovely and bright yet freezing cold. I love it.
It was a joy to see the swan family and their four cygnets enjoying a small feast of mixed seeds, at High Street bridge. We have watched the cygnets growing up during the year, and they are slowly getting their pure white feathers.
Pendle Hill was barely visible through the layers of mist.
Having a day in the warm and watching films, reading and enjoying festive left overs.
