Dang!
...I missed it.
My ten year anniversary on Blip passed on December 10th. For a while I Blipped religiously*, before life, film photography, blogging, Twitter and everything else got in the way.
But at Christmas, I was delighted to receive a book of photos by my friend Iain. In it, he has used his daily text from Blip entries to describe the accompanying image.
While I'll never be as poetic as Iain, but I hope to follow his lead in recording his thoughts and feelings for each picture at the time it was made, rather than trying to do so retrospectively as I do on my blog.
So I'm back...
*speaking of things religious, today's entry is the Methodist Church centre in Mountsorrel. Having been confined to home during the first three days of my Christmas 'holiday', when the opportunity came to get out for an hour, just before dark on my last day off, I took it.
I wrapped Emily up against the cold and headed to the nearby village for a quick walk and some fresh air. From the top of the Castle Hill, I saw this spire and knew that I needed to investigate.
