Ferries

Three DSs were due today. Calmac cancelled the ferries but kindly put on an extra one before the storm was due to hit and so we get an extra day with the poor souls.
It was quite windy today as you can see in the image above. The pub quiz seemed a hazardous activity so our neighbours took pity on us and invited us down to theirs. Eleven around the table and more bottles of peculiar spirits to finish and the evening certainly went well. The Quorn Satay was a highlight as was Mein host bouncing off walls and the Romanian firewater from a plastic Fanta bottle.
The short walk back seemed a bit of a battle into the wind and rain.
