Fearties

Like a lot of dogs who are scared of fireworks, both Bertie and Sammy  panic at certain loud noises. Today, while I was busy packing up, there was some distant shooting - the sporting kind - and both dogs immediately became uneasy and wanted to hide.

Bertie lay in his 'safe' place, face to the wall, and I opened the cupboard door in the hall so that Sammy could hide in there, as I had been advised by their human. You can tell from the look on her face that she feels uneasy.

I'm now home with no house-sitting bookings in my diary, so I shall just enjoy being able to please myself for a while.
