Across the Moors

It took Mum 2hrs 45mins door to door to get here on the train last week. It took us 8hrs to take her home by car (including our return journey). Mmmmmmmm. Food for thought!!

The M6 was very busy northbound and looked to be very busy southbound too so we decided to come back via the scenic route. Straight across the Peak District to pick up the M1 at Chesterfield. A bit of a circuitous route but it was beautiful. There was a lot of stopping for taking photos and also a stop at the Snake Inn for lunch.

I took a lot of images around Ladybower reservoir and I would have put them in extras .......... if I had any left!!
