Camera Club Challenge

I joined the local camera club a few months ago.  It is a small club and I thoroughly enjoy the meetings.  On the technical side, I understand the words and sometimes the sentences.  I'm getting there.  On the creative side, there is much to admire.  I aspire.

I have entered competitions and haven't disgraced myself so far.  As others have told me, it is the taking part that counts.  I am beginning to believe that.  The next competition is a portfolio of printed photographs.  That presents new challenges.

The first is to select a group of 6 photos.  I had a lot of shots of irises so I made that my theme.  Now I have to select 6 of them.  Funny how each seems to have a blemish or two or three.  Then there is the printing ....

Good fun though.
