We have had a lot of snow, and it snowed again on Christmas Day. Both us and our guests had early flights on the 26th, and we were scared the weather might be bad during the night and no snow plows working, so we decided to spend the night in a hotel at the airport. We had a nice meal at friends' house, and went to the airport hotel. The next morning I saw that the road over the mountain that we had to take, was indeed closed during the night, so we were glad we made the right choice. Although spending the evening of Christmas in a hotel is not my first choice, at least I was with friends.
