Into the village with the SBG in the dreich grey drizzle for a stretch of the legs and an extended game of I Spy, the shops for some supplies and then back to Mum's.

An afternoon spent with friends who popped round for drinks and catch ups. Lovely to see them.

Once they were away, it was time for the BFG , dinner, a bath and then bed for the SBG.

An evening of HP on the telly and left over wine for us.
