I am proud to introduce Nellie The Elephant to you. Nellie is short for Nelson. He is a He.

I love elephants and I enjoy reading so Sister FP cleverly managed to combine two of my great loves.

We also watched Gordon Buchanan's programme tonight on his time with a family of orphaned elephants in Tsavo National Park. The David Sheldrick Elephant Santuary had saved these elephants and raised them and taught them to be a wild herd. It was a very touching programme watching two baby elephants growing up in the herd.

Nelson is a very good bookmark.
