Do you remember Morecombe and Wise? I'm having a bit of a gloomy day, but if his smile looks forced it's hardly surprising when he was the butt of the jokes for all those years. Or at least that's how I remember it. And what were we laughing at - he thought he was creative, charming, intelligent and he wasn't. maybe if we are foolish enough to try to be creative, charming or intelligent we'll just get laughed at too. At, not with, not like when Eric pretends he's holding a paper bag.
Oh, I'm driving myself past gloom to fall asleep boredom.
