The house renovation has slowed of late. At least for now there's no mention of paint brushes etc.

As we've worked through the rooms, there are parts which are more difficult to deal with.

This is a case in point. On the wall in the utility room, what we presume are the heights of the previous owners' children.

Undoubtedly precious to them and, strangely, somehow to us also.
