A visitor from the 'East'

L and I had lunch today with our eldest niece. She lives in Edinburgh and has a job that she loves with Altzeimer Scotland. C had been on the Isle of White for Christmas so this was our festive catch up including an exchange of presents.

Part of my present was a most interesting book on the history of Glasgow. As I was looking through the book I came to a section where the pages were upside down ...... not deliberately! We weren't far from Waterstones .... the salesman quickly removed all the other copies from the shelf and together we looked through them all. At least two others had a similar mistake. I got a perfect copy and the guy went off to send an email to the other shops to check their stock.
