White tulips and rosemary for remembrance

I thought this appropriate for today. Tulips were #1 daughter's favourite flower, so I always try to get some for the Christmas table, along with rosemary from the garden. And today I was at a funeral. Friend S's mother, who'd had dementia for some years, died last week. Also she was #1 daughter's reception class teacher.

Mr C did not make it to the funeral. He had to go back to bed with his bug. I am still keeping it at bay with a quaff of gin and tonic every night - just because I believe the quinine will kill any lurking bug you understand.
