A little Christmas light
Wonderful crisp and frosty morning again. John went for a run but Grace and I took it easy over breakfast.
Chris was driving for Inn churches being run by our sister church in Wilsden. The aim is to provide two meals and shelter for homeless people for a day over a week.
We went around to a friend's house mid morning for a coffee morning fundraising event for Manorlands, our local Sue Ryder hospice. It was an excellent event with many friends and neighbours in attendance. I believe over £500 was raised. Well done all involved.
Grace and John have gone over the Pennines to visit Grace's friend who is over from Washington DC for the Christmas period so I've taken the opportunity to catch up with a few chores.
These solar powered bulbs were heavily frosted this morning but they have managed to light briefly this evening amongst the baubles in the Magnolia tree.
A little light in the darkness is what we all need.
