Duncombe Parkland

Our first day of the hols and the weather was rather cold and with pea soup fog!

We headed into Helmsley for a few supplies and a wander round. After lunch we donned several layers and went for a short walk around the grounds of Duncombe Park. We couldn't really see the landscape, but it was particularly atmospheric.

We're now back in the warmth of the cosy cottage, and not planning on going out again tonight!
