Signs

Today was my birthday and I was feeling a little less than chipper.  Jon and I had planned on taking a ride to the beach (my happy place) and getting a bite to eat.  A good friend called early to invite me to breakfast.  As I backed out of the garage, I looked over to see what the melting snow had revealed for me.  This heart shaped rock.  After breakfast I was still out of sorts and undecided about what would be a good way to celebrate, so to speak, feeling cold and the skies were starting to cloud up.  The beach wasn't doing it for me.  A few birthday phone calls later and we decided on a movie and dinner at a Mac and Cheese place - not fancy but definitely comfort food.  The movie was Collateral Beauty - perfect for the mood and as we pulled into Mr. Mac's, I remembered that the last time I was there was with Sumner.  It somehow all fell into place and felt right.
