Tomie Ohtake

This is an sculpture designed by the Japanese-Brazilian aculptor Tomie Ohtake, died at 101 in 2015. It is a tribute to celebrate 100 years since Japanese people started to come to Brazil, arriving in the Santos seaport.
Extra: in front of the sculpture there is a gazebo with beautiful sea views;
Extra: Urubuqueçaba is the name of this small island that can be seen from the gazebo. It is an indian name that means "place where the vulture sleeps".
