Real desperation...

As I spent most of yesterday afternoon on the sofa, this was my view: the tree, its lights pale against the grey of the sky. Later, there was more variety as I was whipped into the local A&E with gastritis. Never had pain like it. Wonderfully soothing paramedics and prompt succour.

And that's all I got to say about that...
