Spring Delight

A quiet day for me with a rather pressing migraine, just taking it easy with a little wander round my garden. The sky was bright with a few small white clouds passing by, the sun was warm upon my back and a gentle breeze sent flickers of light through the garden, so pretty but cold in the shade.

Daughter E had some girlfriends round for a late breakfast this morning. She served up pancakes with a selection of goodies on the side. Lots of chocolate sauce or maple sauce, marshmellows, chocolate chips and a few berries - they all chatted and laughed as they caught up with one anothers news. Some are working and others are at uni, their lives all different yet they still remain friends.

Lovely to have a phone call from Daughter A, still busy with finals at uni but is able to come home for a few days next week. There will be no rest as she has a photo shoot organised as part of an uni assignment and also has her first paid freelance job to work on - somedays I just can't keep up.

The weekend is here and the weather looks to be settled with lots of sun, perhaps some gardening ahead for me.
