Chailey Moat

The oldest house in Chailey and the only one with a moat. Its for sale..... if you have "in excess of" £5 million to spare. Seven bedroom 16th century grade II listed moated former rectory plus 4 bedroom 17th century converted tithe barn and two bedroom cottage set in 44 acres etc. We are planning to move house next year - before the council sweeps away the countryside around us and lets the developers dump hundreds of new boxes on it. Sadly the Moat isn't going to be on our list.
