The flowing fog bank approaches again

The bright day began to recede after lunch and I watched the fog bank moving towards us from heights of Minchinhampton Common. As it drops down into the Golden Valley it will spread, though slowly.  The sun was setting behind the fog brightening the landscape where its light bounced back down from the clouds. I think we'll have another misty evening but the stars will be shining from on high, visible intermittently between the cracks.
