...I first visited what was then the Commonwealth Institute with my primary school just a few years after it first opened its doors in 1962. It was completely remodelled internally before recently reopening as the Design Museum. The new inside is wonderful. Externally, it is still the fabulous building that it always has been, one of London's unsung architectural gems.
