Pathway Color

Zihuatanejo is lucky to have a couple of pedestrian pathways in the downtown area. One of the more popular ones stretches from the basketball court to the municipal pier, the Paseo del Pescador (Fisherman's Walk). In the morning it is filled with shoppers buying fish and visitors making their way to Playa Las Gatas via panga. In the evening it serves as a kind of zocalo giving youngsters a place to stroll, to see and be seen. This morning, I caught it almost empty even the shops lining it were ready for business. I liked the addition of the flags above the toys and trinkets, made for a very colorful scene.
