Friday walk

Since I had a cleaning frenzy yesterday when my son left with his family, the hubs had gone hunting (only one more day for deer hunting!) I decided to go somewhere.   So I got out my little state park book and picked one that I had not been to see.   

This is Juniper Lake at Cheraw State Park.  A little far to drive but the walk around the lake was nice.   This boardwalk goes for about a half mile, from the picnic and parking area on one side of the lake all the way to the camping area on the other side.  It hugs the shoreline so I could see to the bottom of the water on one side it.  There were lily pads starting to come up so I imagine in the summer the area will be full of blooms.
