Enjoying the summer sun for new year

My mum and dad have been here for their first summer christmas - although it feels a little strange for them they have been loving the warm sun, walks on the beach and lazy book ready at the bach. 

Its so good to be able to share this summer with them.

We'll all ring in the bells quietly tonight and head north from Whanagparoa for a Northland camping adventure tomorrow.
