or Calcera viscosa, was the brightest thing about the dreich day! I was pretty wet after a three hour walk in the heaviest rain we've had for months. Everything drying now.
Selected this as it looks vaguely festive!
The English name is a result of the work of Liz Holden, an excellent mycologist, who decided to give all fungii an easy to remember name.
