Balerno

Second trip out on my bike - this time along the Union Canal and the Water of Leith to Balerno (approx 15 miles round trip). It was so much fun - I didn't even mind the drizzle.

Took myself down to Stockbridge for a coffee and a cake to recover while reading my book and then went to the 150th International Photographic Exhibition. Some pretty amazing shots were on display although I must confess that not all of them were to my taste, almost being more like paintings or watercolours than photographs.

My final expedition for the day was a trip to the cinema to see The Imposter - a really incredible documentary film - seriously you couldn't make it up ...
