Autumnal Colours 2

Its my day off, yippee :)

Today's a bit of a let down where the colour of the sky is concerned! Its a horrible grey sort of colour but no rain yet.....I'm sure it won't be long before it rains though.

This is from my tree outside the window, I think its an acer. Its not actually happy where I planted it several years ago, and I'm not sure now whether it has a disease or its just where I planted it. Some branches are very black at the tip and others are fine and full of leaves. I'm just wondering if anyone can advise me about this?

Autumn colours of yellows and reds are my favourite :)

Primarily I guess I enjoy the autumn at the beginning because its my birthday in mid October....but after that when its getting colder (and darker in the evenings/mornings) I am not so good at coping with it. I need my vitamin D (and we haven't had much of that this summer) to cope with the long dark winter.

Today I have shopped, blipped, washed and now I'm getting ready to do some much needed housework. Earlier I spilt a whole mug of black coffee on the
carpet :( I've used vanish and when its dried I need to hoover. Trust me to create more work for myself .

This afternoon I'm hoping to do something 'arty' for a change!!

I'm working all weekend until Monday...so no change there :)
