Light at the end of the tunnel

It's become tradition for me, on the penultimate day of the year, to review the year gone by.  This should be fun...

David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Terry Wogan, Father Jack, Johan Cruyff, Ronnie Corbett, Paul Daniels, Victoria Wood, David Gest, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Caroline Ahern, R2D2, Willy Wonka, Pete Burns, Hilda Ogden, The Man from Uncle, Leonard Cohen, Manuel, Iain mackaskill, Rick Parfitt, George Michael, Nana from the Royle Family, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds and many more I've missed.  And that's not to mention Brexit or Trump... 2016, you've been an utter bastard.

Except, to me, you've been pretty darn good.  19 trips to Edinburgh, 2 to Glasgow, 1 each to Stirling, Aberdeen and Dundee, a weekend in Lincoln, and a week in Copehagen. Things couldn't have been much better. Looking forward to 2017!
