Watching the World Go By

This heron sat here peacefully for ages and was completely unconcerned by me creeping in the bushes  :-)

Another overcast day, so not great for photos but got some fresh air and exercise, so not all bad ..........saw a couple of ' different ' ducks that I think could be  female Gadwalls (  See one in Extras).....but I'm not too hot on water bird ID so would appreciate some confirmation if you know what it is, thank you  :-))
