Happy old year

Bye bye good (?) Old year 2016...!

I baked some cakes in the morning: one of them went to my son and his friends, as they did go to the cottage to spend a new year night there. One of the cakes stayed home and one was for my friend to the neighbour. I also baked a small glutenfree cake to myself.

Hubby got this invite for us in the evening, to visit our friends. As our daughter has her company and they did have plans of their own, I took the small cake with me and we left.

Me feeling odd. First new year's eve without kids..!

There was auroras seen during the last night of the year, so I add a humble shot about it from highway to the country.
