Day Five

Masterton - Ashhurst (111km) - the biggest day which at the end included a ride over our childhood cycling nemesis, Saddle Road. It's still a tough climb and still great fun going down the other side into Ashhurst. It's had a few bends straightened a bit since were in our teens so we got a fair bit of steam up.
