Alternative flower on Friday

For the last Flower Friday of the year I am featuring, of course, my alternative flower, Violet, who always spends this day of the week with me.
Today we woke to fog and cloud: gone were the fabulous clear skies of yesterday and so we spent the day at home. 
Mr MC was working again this morning, but when he came home this afternoon it gave me the chance to collect from NEXT store the coat that I'd ordered before Christmas for Violet. When I showed it to her ( a traditional camel coat with hood AND pockets!) she pronounced it 'Like Mummy's coat' and refused to take it off, even when she took a nap!
Here she has woken from that nap, when Mummy returned from work and as it had made her extremely warm, been persuaded to remove the coat.
