Mick Vs Stoney Lane

eat Stony Lane, albeit in a slower time than he would have liked but beaten by the roads en route when he stopped with one foot clipped in the pedals and leaned to that side with only one possible outcome; a face plant on the tarmac. 

We rode 37 miles which was a good distance and I got a PB on the hill from Hitchin to the Three Moorhens (on the way to Stevenage) and a 2nd best time for Stony lane (4:12) which considering its location late in the ride, was very pleasing. It suggests that if tackled on its own, beating my PB of 3:58 is within my reach.
