New Year's Eve

First New Year since coming back from the UK. It is definitely much louder and more fun to spend it with family. Firecrackers and fireworks are banned in my city so we made loud noise out of "torotots" (hornpipe) my mom bought. We took to the street and blew our torotots as loud as possible to people passing by our street. I think this is the only time of the year where you can shout and blow horns in people's face without them getting pissed off. We also had our exchanging of gifts tonight with relatives. Yeah a tradition that is a bit weird but yeah we exchange gifts not on Christmas Eve but on New Year's Eve.
