Best laid plans ...

Normally we would spend an hour or so of Ne'er Day dancing in the street at Pitlochry's New Year Street Party/Ceilidh. However an early morning fire at Fisher's Hotel put paid to that and the event was cancelled.

The fire started in a top floor room and was contained by the fire-fighters and fortunately no-one appears to have been injured.

As photos show there was still a lot of activity six hours plus later when we went down to get a Sunday paper.
