:(:(:(:(:(:( BIG TIME. This was even harder than September. I was with him then, but today he had to do it all by himself, via Shanghai.

Oh my, it's been tooooo emotional a day for me, and Martin, and Ben. I think I've cried for most of it.

Wonderful way to start the year, NOT! I don't know how parents who've lost their kids do it. He's just going away for the next 5 1/2 months and I'm a mess.

Highlight of the day though was a final meal for him at Crystal Jade at the airport. We all enjoyed that VERY much.
