Happy New Year from a glorious Lake District

Did a circular 8 mile from Grasmere taking in Alcock Tarn, the Coffin Route and Loughrigg Terrace. The weather was truly glorious - sunny and cold though some strong winds higher up. The view is taken descending from Alcock Tarn.

I have decided to take on livefortheoutdoors.com #walk1000miles challenge in 2017 and this walk marked the start. Just another 992 miles to go - will keep you posted.
