New Year new start

Great party last night, thank you Kate and Ken, and therefore a late and fuzzy start to the New Year.  The rain didn't stop all day so here is a picture of the soon-to-be-dismantled Christmas tree.

There is always something rather sad but also rather satisfying packing up the decorations for another year, and getting the house back to normal.

This afternoon the whole family binge watched the fantastic series, 'The Big Life Fix' which I would heartily recommend as an fascinating, inspirational and very moving start to 2017.
