Rannerdale - New Years Day

Ray had already had Rip and Fonz out on the hills this morning, but as it was such a lovely day and I hadn't been out for ages we just had a walk round Rannerdale, Crummock. The Buttermere road was really busy and there were a few idiot drivers about. That's why we don't normally go out mid-afternoon.
We saw no one while we walked, a vast difference to what it will be like in a few months time when the Bluebells are out.
