Spinnaker tower

Decided to sneak a couple of days of work and visit Portsmouth. We arrived late morning and headed for the Gun Wharf Quays. It was a beautiful morning with bright sunshine and a deep blue sky. We headed up the Spinnaker Tower and really enjoyed taking in the views and watching the ships and ferries heading in and out of the harbour. The coffee in the cafe was good too. 
We checked into the hotel and then walked back to the tower to see night fall over the harbour. Nice meal in one of the pubs on the Quay and then a chilly walk  back to the hotel. Really nice relaxing day and we managed to buy nothing from the designer shops!
