Unseasonal caterpillar

I went out for a much-needed lunchtime walk with a friend. Being outside really boosted my mood and was a great break from endless spreadsheets and my dingy office. 

We came across this luminous green caterpillar on our way back to the main campus. Quite surprised to see one this late in the year. I think it is a pale tussock moth.
