Another lie in for me while Stu got up and left me in bed. His Dad had agreed to help us at the house today so Stu went early to meet him (and put the heating on).
When I got there Roy had started painting the base coat on the landing. Before he started though he decided to make it a bit safer by putting some board up as we curently have no hand rail (apparently my masking tape wasn't safe!). He has done a brilliant job and finished the landing and has said he will come back tomorrow to finish off the hall.
Stu has fitted skirting board in the kitchen and I have started putting stuff away in the kitchen cupboards. It actually feels like a house now!
This evening we have been to Stus Mom and Dads for dinner and to see his Sister who has been away all over Christmas so it was nice to catch up and hear about her time in Kenya.
