Nuit Blanche

I've been bravely not telling you that I am virus-laden thanks mainly to #2 grandson. My throat is horrible, my nose runny, my head sore. I cough and I sneeze. Sleep comes in very short patches before I struggle to the surface to get a breath. It's 02:28. Add to that an unhealthy doze of self-inflicted anxiety.....

The hymn writer coined the phrase .... "the slow watches of the night". The French call it a "white night". But if you look closely at the image you will see that even in the dark there is a glimmer. And somewhere else the Psalmist says "even the darkness is not darkness with You!"
