Off early for the holiday weekend on Friday so lots of opportunity to catch-up on the critically acclaimed new releases. Saw Passengers on Friday. Quite enjoyed it. Thank goodness because we've seen trailers for the thing for months. Somewhere between a sci-fi action pic. and a rom-com.
Jackie last evening before dinner. Supposedly describes Jackie Kennedy's efforts to ensure JFK's legacy in the days between the assassination and the funeral. Sad and brooding as you would expect, but very good. Liked Natalie Portman as Jackie.
Lion tonight with Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman true story; makes me glad to live in the 1st world. Well worth the price of admission. Of the planets align, we'll see Fences tomorrow: Denzel's Oscar effort with Viola Davis. Here's hoping it's as good as the trailers. In case you are wondering what's up with all the highbrow pictures: we saw Rogue One in the middle of last week with Wee G.
