Birds in a Bush

I noticed a lot of activity in this rowan tree and wondered what kind of birds they were. Of course when I stopped the van they flew away. However some returned and the rest perched on the electricity cables. I think they may be fieldfares although I may be wrong. There are several to be seen.

The road side cross is an old one and thrown in for good measure.

Spotted a couple of hawks mewing over our neighbours' forest just before I arrived home with the shopping.
