On the Pontoon

Today 6 of us left our cars at the meeting point and walked from there to Beacon Point.  On the way we stopped to check out the new pontoon.  We decided it was very well constructed, with room for 8 boats to be tied up at the same time.  It was a flat walk through to Beacon Point.  We had our lunch at Eileen and Tony's seat, in commemoration of their 50th wedding anniversary a couple of years ago.  We stopped for a welcome cuppa at a local cafe on the way home.

A very warm welcome to 'feathers' who has arrived in Wanaka today.  Are you able to meet us at Edgewater at 3 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) for a blipmeet?  Looking forward to catching up with you and hear about your travels.
