Rhubarb, Rhubarb

Made a trip up to Darlington to visit mother in law in hospital. Limited opportunities for blip photography, so before we set off I grabbed a quick shot of our rhubarb which is sprouting well already.

Not the most exciting snap - but now seems appropriate after sitting for hours at a bedside - there is only so much you can talk to an elderly lady about. Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb....

Miserable drive home in the dark - rain and sleet most of the way.

Then I cocked up making our tea when we got home...found some beef casserole in the freezer and making the dumplings I used plain flour instead of self raising so they turned out like cannonballs. I think my brain was numbed....
